Olmstead & Associates today announced that Dr. John W. Olmstead, president of the legal management consulting group, will be a presenter at an upcoming Law Office Technology seminar CLE program hosted by the Peoria Illinois County Bar Association. This is part of the Peoria County Bar Association CLE Program Series. The program is being held on February 12, 2005 in Peoria, Illinois at Packard Plaza. Olmstead will present “Case and Practice Management Systems: Leveraging Your Practice To Make Money.” Other speakers will speak on similar topics pertinent to law office technology.
Dr. Olmstead has more than 34 years of experience in law firm management and working with other professional service firms. He is president of Olmstead & Associates, a legal management-consulting firm based in St. Louis. He also is Editor-in-Chief of The Lawyers Competitive Edge: The Journal of Law Office Economics and Management, published by West Group. His doctoral work in Business Administration concentrated on organizational behavior and marketing. He has lectured for the Association of Legal Administrators, St. Louis Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Trial Attorneys, IBM, Illinois State University, Illinois State Bar Association, Solo-Map CPA Association of St. Louis and many other state and local bar associations.
