Legal Management Consultant John Olmstead To Participate In Illinois State Bar Conference

Olmstead & Associates today announced today that Dr. John W. Olmstead, president of the legal management consulting group, will facilitate a roundtable on Marketing on a Shoestring at an upcoming Breakfast Symposium session hosted by the Law Office Economics Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association. This event is part of the Illinois State Bar Association’s annual conference.

The conference is being held on June 17, 2005 in Lake of Geneva, Wis., at the Abbey Resort. Olmstead will facilitate a roundtable discussion focused on “Marketing On A Shoestring.” His primary role as facilitator is to lead discussion on the topic and act as an informative resource.

Dr. Olmstead has more than 37 years of experience in law firm management and working with other professional service firms. He is president of Olmstead & Associates, a legal management-consulting firm based in St. Louis. He also is Editor-in-Chief of The Lawyers Competitive Edge: The Journal of Law Office Economics and Management, published by West Group. His doctoral work in Business Administration concentrated on organizational behavior and marketing. He has lectured for the Association of Legal Administrators, St. Louis Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Trial Attorneys, IBM, Illinois State University, Illinois State Bar Association, Solo-Map CPA Association of St. Louis and many other state and local bar associations.
