Legal Management Consultant John Olmstead to Present on Managing Client Trust Accounts at Illinois State Bar Solo-Small Firm Conference

Olmstead & Associates today announced that Dr. John W. Olmstead, president of the legal management consulting group, will speak at a session on the topic of “Managing Client Trust Accounts: Setting Up Trust Accounting Software” at the annual Solo and Small Firm Conference, hosted by the Illinois State Bar Association.

The three-day conference is being held October 26-28, 2011, at the Hilton Conference Center, Springfield, Illinois. The conference will provide a blend of outstanding national speakers and state bar practitioners.

Dr. Olmstead is a Certified Management Consultant and the president of Olmstead & Associates, Legal Management Consultants and Life On Balance. Both firms are based in St. Louis, Missouri. Olmstead & Associates helps law and other professional service firms change and reinvent their practices. Dr. Olmstead has more than 39 years experience in law firm management and working with law firms. He is currently serving as Vice Chair, Standing Committee on Law Office Management and Economics of the Illinois State Bar Association and will assume the position of Chair in June. Dr. Olmstead is the Editor-in-Chief of “The Lawyers Competitive Edge: The Journal of Law Office Economics and Management,” published by Thomson-West. He has lectured for the Association of Legal Administrators, St. Louis Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Trial Attorneys, IBM, Illinois State University, Illinois State Bar Association, Solo-Map CPA Association of St. Louis and many other national, state, and local bar associations.
