Legal Management Consultant John Olmstead To Participate In CLE Program – Building and Managing the Virtual Law Firm In Chicago

Olmstead & Associates today announced that Dr. John W. Olmstead, president of the legal management consulting group, will be a presenter on a panel at an upcoming CLE program hosted by the Standing Committee on Law Office Management and Economics of the Illinois State Bar Association. This presentation is part of the Illinois State Bar Association CLE Program Series.

The program is being held on February 10,2011 in Chicago, Illinois at the Illinois State Bar Association Chicago Regional Office. The topic will focus on the issues involved in building and managing the virtual law firm as well as ethical considerations. Other speakers will participate on the panel as well. 

Dr. Olmstead has more than 34 years of experience in law firm management and working with other professional service firms. He is president of Olmstead & Associates, a legal management-consulting firm based in St. Louis. He also is Editor-in-Chief of The Lawyers Competitive Edge: The Journal of Law Office Economics and Management, published by West Group. His doctoral work in Business Administration concentrated on organizational behavior and marketing. He has lectured for the Association of Legal Administrators, St. Louis Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Trial Attorneys, IBM, Illinois State University, Illinois State Bar Association, Solo-Map CPA Association of St. Louis and many other state and local bar associations.
