Computer Backups

One of the major problems that we find people are having with computer backups on networks is failing to verify that backups are successful and without skipped open files that were left open by users. Review your tape backup log daily and verify that the tape backup job actually started and completed successfully and error free. Also verify that no key data files were skipped during the backup procedure.
